Subject: The change in The Politics of Pakistan

The Editor,
Daily The Nation Newspaper,
Lahore.
Dear Editor,

There is a quote: “Change is the need of our life”, and, as a matter of fact, it suits us the best. Now-a-days, we, as Pakistanis, need a positive change in our country more than any other nation in the world. Our current situation is like a sea, in which every middle class and lower middle class person is drowning. Unfortunately, in our politics, there is a lot of corruption and our politicians are the most dishonest people on earth. As for the political change, it doesn’t come from the sky or out of the blue. It is a gradual process that will take place with a lot of insight and hard work as it had happened in the past with the societies that are stable, peaceful, democratic and industrial today.
As far as Pakistani politics is concerned, our political scene is changing quickly. Both the parties PPP and PML-N have to face a common competitor, Imran Khan. Alongside, their fame is slipping away. Imran Khan, the leader of PTI, is earning all the popularity and expected to be the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. There is no denying that our youth, especially the educated people, are embracing him as their national leader. Today, Pakistani youth, due to its huge number, is getting a very effective and powerful role to play in the national politics as it has happened in Egypt, Syria, Bahrain, etc. I think, if Imran is appreciated and liked by Punjabis, he will definitely be popular and affective in the rest of the country, too.
On the other hand, this is also a fact that both PPP and PML-N still have a strong vote bank. So, as a struggling leader, we don’t see Imran Khan in a position to make a majority party government in near future. Therefore, he has no choice except to make alliance with other political parties to have an opportunity to lead the country.
Among the Pakistani young generation, the reason to vote Imran Khan is to bring a positive change in the country. And, he is the only politician who is trustworthy and capable of bringing that change. As a good beginning, he declared his personal assets. On the other hand, he has a bright future in the national politics because 50% of our population comprises youth.

Your’s Sincerely.
